I'm a big fan of what I call Celtic Punk. Bands like Flogging Molly, the Pogues and whatnot. There's a song that was recently used in a Toyota commercial with a soccer mom and her boys being picked up from football practice. They use the song "If I Should Fall From Grace With God" and it's quite appropriate for rowdy boys playing football.
The reading I've been doing lately has a lot to do with football. Blogs like Sports And Crap and Throw Me The Ball have kept me entertained. They pointed me to Internet Ticket Outlet too, which turned out to be a gold mine for getting game tickets. They're nice folks.
